Upload a favicon

A favicon is the small image that displays in the browser tab next to the title of your website. A favicon that matches your branding will go a long way in making your site appear more professional and put together.

How to upload a custom favicon

1. Create a 512x512px favicon image in the editing program of your choice (such as Photoshop or Pixlr). Save your favicon as a .png or .ico.
2. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Customize.
3. Click on Site Identity.
4. Under Site Icon, click Select Image and upload your favicon image.
5. Save & Publish. Reload your site to see your new favicon in action!
