Kadence - Block Collection Inaccessible After Kadence Blocks 3.7.8.1 Update

Update August 5, 2026: Kadence has resolved this issue. Just update to the latest version of the Kadence Blocks plugin and your Block Collection should become accessible again!

July 28, 2026: We're currently aware of an issue affecting the Kadence Blocks plugin. In a recent plugin update (version 3.7.8.1), a security change has prevented access to all third-party Design Libraries, which causes the following error to appear when opening the Block Collection for your theme: Error, Unable to access library database, please try re-syncing

We've reported this issue to the Kadence team, they've confirmed the bug, and are working on a fix. Update 8/5/26: Now resolved in Kadence Blocks version 3.7.9. Just update to the latest version and you'll be all set!
