How to install a favicon on WordPress

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Appearance > Customize.
2. Click on the Site Identity tab.
3. Under Site Icon, click Select Image. Upload your favicon image.
4. Click Publish. Reload your site to see your new favicon in action!

Note: It can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for your new favicon to appear in Google Search. This is normal.
