Genesis - Customize footer credits & copyright

The footer credits and copyright can be edited or removed in the Theme Functions file at WordPress > Appearance > Editor > Functions.php. Make sure you have access to the File Manager before attempting to make any edits to the Functions.php file.

There is some variance between themes (re: what is displayed in the footer area), but in general you'll look for a section in the Functions.php file that looks like this:

Please note that while you're welcome to remove the 17th Avenue footer credit, doing so will void your access to theme support. See our support policy for more information. Additionally, we do not provide theme support/assistance with editing this area of your theme. Please do so at your own risk.
