Genesis - Blank areas on blog or homepage

If your blog or home page is missing images or has "blank spots" where images should be, you need to set Featured Images for your posts. Click here for the tutorial.

Tip! (New Sites Only)

When WordPress is initially installed, there is a sample post titled "Hello World" added to your site. Since this sample post does not contain a featured image, it can create a blank area where the featured image would normally appear on your site. We suggest just deleting the Hello World post, so that you're left with only the demo content for your theme. To delete the post, go to Posts > All Posts.
