Genesis Featured Page widget not saving

Several of our themes use the Genesis Featured Page Advanced widget to display featured pages on the homepage. When switching out the images in the Genesis Featured Page Advanced widgets, some people find they can't save the widget. This is a bug that exists in a number of WordPress widgets that involve selecting images. Basically, the widget doesn't recognize that you have selected a new image, so it thinks there is nothing to be "saved."

The Easy Workaround

When you upload a new image to a Genesis Featured Page widget and you find that you can't hit save, here's what to do: Simply change a different setting within the Genesis Featured Page widget and then change it back.

For example, you could check the box that says "Show Page Content" and then uncheck it. Doing that will allow you to save, and the image will update on your website.
