Widget Importer & Exporter plugin not working

Did you receive an error when importing your widgets that says "you must upload a .wie file generated by this plugin"? Some WordPress sites disallow .wie files from being uploaded. We typically see this on sites hosted by Bluehost. Luckily, there is an easy workaround!

1. Go to your WordPress dashboard > Plugins > Add New.
2. Search Disable Real MIME Check. Install and then activate the plugin.
3. Follow the instructions for importing the widgets.
4. Once you've imported the widgets, deactivate or delete the Disable Real MIME Check plugin.
