Uptown - Alternate post title options

In the Uptown theme, the post titles appear when you hover over the featured post images and on the category pages. If you'd prefer the titles to be static (i.e. don't require hovering to see the title), here's how:

Titles Static on Top of Image

Click here and copy the code. Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste the code. Click Publish.

The background color and link color of the title can be changed at Appearance > Customize > Colors.

Titles Below Image

Click here and copy the code. Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and paste the code. Click Publish.

No Title

If you would prefer to completely remove the titles from the homepage featured posts, go to Appearance > Widgets > Front Page 1 > Genesis Featured Posts and uncheck "Show Post Title."

Copy this snippet and paste it at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.
