Magnolia - Static post titles

The "From the Journal" featured posts section on the Magnolia homepage displays the post titles when the image is hovered over:

This tutorial will show you how to display the titles statically below the images, like this:

  1. Click here and copy the code.
  2. Go to WordPress > Appearance > Customize.
  3. Select the Additional CSS section and paste the code in the box.
  4. Click the blue Publish button to save your changes.

Static titles for sidebar featured posts

  1. Click here and copy the code.
  2. Go to WordPress > Appearance > Customize.
  3. Select the Additional CSS section and paste the code in the box.
  4. Click the blue Publish button to save your changes.

Static titles for categories and category index

The Portfolio page also displays titles on hover. To change them to static, follow these instructions:
