How to get an image file URL from the Media Library

In this tutorial, we'll show you how to quickly grab an image file URL from inside your Media Library.

1. Go to your WordPress dashboard > Media Library.

2. Select the image you would like to grab the link for. A window will pop with details for that image:

3. Click the "Copy URL to clipboard" button.

4. Paste the image file URL wherever you need it to go.

Adding the image URL to the about me widget

If you're using the new 17th Avenue About Me Widget, you'll paste your URL in the "Image URL" field:

Note: If you imported your widgets, there will already be an image in the Image URL field. Be sure to REPLACE or DELETE the existing image URL, so that only your own Image URL is in the field.
