Clover - Post-Installation Guide (Blog Version)
This article is for customers who have purchased theme installation for the Clover theme.
We just installed your theme on your site – you may be wondering, now what? Below we'll go over the common questions we get post-installation, where you need to go to update things, and more. :)
Homepage - Post Carousel
Your 4 most recent posts will appear in the post carousel by default. If you'd like to modify this area, go to Appearance > Widgets > Front Page 1 > 17th Ave - Post Carousel widget.
To change the images in the carousel, create a new post, then set a featured image. The featured image for each post will display in the carousel.
Homepage - 3 Featured Pages
To change the images (and titles) in this section, go to Appearance > Widgets > Front Page 2. Open the Genesis Featured Page widgets. You can select a new image, change the title, change the page link, etc from the settings.

Homepage - "Join the Hive" Subscription Widget
Go to Appearance > Widgets > Front Page 3 > Genesis eNews Extended widget. To set up your subscription widget with a mailing list provider (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, FloDesk, etc), click here for instructions.
Homepage - About Section
To edit this section, go to Appearance > Widgets > Front Page 5. The image can be changed in the Image widget; text can be changed in the 17th Ave - Homepage About Widget.
Homepage - Where To?
To edit this section, go to Appearance > Widgets > Front Page 6 > 17th Ave - Service Box widgets. Click here for instructions on changing the icons.
Homepage - Latest Finds
To edit this section, go to Appearance > Widgets > Front Page 7 > Custom HTML widget. Click here for instructions on replacing the ShopStyle product widget with your own product widget.
Homepage - Footer Subscription Widget
Go to Appearance > Widgets > Footer CTA > Genesis eNews Extended widget. To set up your subscription widget with a mailing list provider (Mailchimp, ConvertKit, FloDesk, etc), click here for instructions. The image can be changed in the Image widget. Minimum image size: 800x550px.
Editing your navigation menus
All navigation menus on your site can be edited/changed/added to at Appearance > Menus. The navigation menus available in the Clover theme are:
- Top Navigation Menu = Menu at the top left of the page
- Split Navigation - Left = Menu that displays to the left of the header
- Split Navigation - Right = Menu that display to the right of the header
- Mobile Navigation Menu = Menu that displays on mobile devices
You will also have custom navigation menus for your footer, sidebar, and Instagram landing page.
Add, remove, or change social icons
Go to Appearance > Widgets. There are social icons widgets in the following widget areas: Primary Sidebar, Nav Social Icons, Footer Social Icons, Instagram Landing Page, and Mobile Menu Widgets.
Sidebar photo and blurb

Instagram Feed
If you did not provide your Instagram access token on your installation form, click here for instructions on linking your Instagram profile and configuring your feed as shown in the demo.
Instagram landing page
The link to your Instagram landing page is your website URL + /instagram. Example: https://yourwebsite.com/instagram
The Instagram landing page is very easy to update and change as needed. To add/change/remove menu items, go to Appearance > Menu > Instagram Menu. To edit anything else on the page (i.e. the social icons, or if you want to add text, etc), go to Appearance > Widgets > Instagram Landing Page.

Coming Soon Page
On your installation form, you were given the option to have a coming soon page installed on your site. To remove the coming soon page and launch your site, go to your WordPress dashboard > CMP Settings. Under CMP Status, select "Disabled." Save changes. Next, go to Plugins > All Plugins and delete the "CMP - Coming Soon Page & Maintenance" plugin.
