Kadence - Site title & logo

Customizing the site title

  1. Go to your WordPress dashboard > Appearance > Customize.
  2. Click on the Header tab, then select Logo.
  3. Type your desired site title into the Site Title field. A tagline (optional) can be added to the Tagline field.

To edit the site title font, click over to the "Design" tab and select your font under Site Title Font.

Adding a Logo

  1. Follow the instructions above to navigate to the Logo area.
  2. Under Logo, click Select Logo.
  3. Select your logo image. If prompted to crop your image, click Skip Cropping.

Logo Layout

Under Logo Layout, you have the option to display your logo on its own, or along with the site title. If you display the logo and title together, you can select where the logo displays in relation to the title.

Please note that the desktop, tablet, and mobile settings are independent of each other here. If you disable the site title on desktop, be sure to disable it on tablet and mobile as well!

Logo Size

Once you've selected a logo image, you'll see a Logo Max Width field appear below the image. You can adjust the width to control the size of the logo. Again, be sure to check tablet and mobile settings too.

If you need more space above or below your logo, click over to the Design tab and you can set Padding.

Site Icon (Favicon)

  1. Go to your WordPress dashboard > Appearance > Customize > Site Identity.
  2. Under Site Icon, click Select Site Icon to choose your favicon image. If you already have a favicon in place, click Change Image instead to select a new image.
