Genesis - Responsive Slider Plugin Update

The Genesis Responsive Slider plugin was closed on March 27, 2024. In this guide, we'll show you how to switch to the 17th Avenue Post Slider plugin! It's super easy.

If you are installing your theme for the first time

Simply download the latest version of your theme from Your Account. Install your theme and activate the plugins as instructed – your slider will automatically use the 17th Avenue Post Slider plugin.

If you already installed your theme

If you currently have the Genesis Responsive Slider plugin installed, here's how to switch to the 17th Avenue Post Slider plugin:

1. First, go to Plugins > All Plugins. Deactivate the Genesis Responsive Slider plugin.
2. Next, click here and follow the instructions to install the 17th Avenue Post Slider plugin.
3. Once activated, your post slider should appear automatically in the same location where it was before (typically Front Page 1). No other changes are necessary.
