Kadence - Blocks not loading in the Design Library

If you're trying to insert a block from the Design Library (Block Collection) and you're seeing the  "Preparing Content..." message spinning endlessly, it's likely due to a server configuration issue or firewall on your site.

What Causes It?

We've had a few reports of this issue, and we worked with Kadence to help troubleshoot. In most cases, this issue is related to your host's firewall or CDN, which may be blocking your site from pulling in content from our server (where the Design Library blocks are hosted).

How to Fix It

  1. First, check to see if you have any security plugins installed on your site, such as All in One Security, Sucuri, or WordFence. Deactivate any security plugins installed on your site, clear your cache, and then try the Design Library again.
  2. If this doesn't help, reach out to your hosting provider and ask them to temporarily disable any firewall or CDN on your site. It's also a good idea to have your host make sure your server resources are set according to Kadence recommendations - click here.

If you're still having trouble, you can bypass the Design Library entirely by simply copying blocks from other pages! To do this, you'll need to make sure you have imported the demo for your theme.
