Starter Theme - 3-Column Footer
The 3-column footer appears at the bottom of your website and is fully customizable. You can choose what to display in each column, including menus, social media icons, newsletter forms, and more.
This is an example of the footer in the Olivia theme. Your footer may look a little different, but the content is the same across all of our Starter Themes.
3 Column Footer
Go to WordPress > Appearance > Widgets. The 3-column footer in your theme utilizes the following widget areas:
- Footer 1: Navigation Menu widget ("Categories")
- Footer 2: Newsletter signup code
- Footer 3: Navigation Menu widget ("Explore")
Editing the Footer Navigation Menus
Changing the links: To edit each navigation menu and add your preferred links, go to Appearance > Menus. Look for the menus titled "Blog Categories" and "Footer - Explore."
Changing the menu title (i.e. "Explore"): Go to Appearance > Widgets > Footer 1 and/or Footer 3. Open the Navigation Menu inside each widget area and you'll be able to change the widget title in the "Title" field.
