This tutorial applies to our Genesis themes ONLY. For Kadence themes, click here.
Are you trying to set up Google Analytics, Google AdSense, Rich Pins on Pinterest, or other similar services? There are many online applications where you may be instructed to paste a code snippet in the head or footer section of your site. It may also be referred to as header.php, footer.php, <head>, or <body>. Different applications use different terminology.
The Genesis Framework makes it super easy to insert these types of codes.
- In your WordPress dashboard, go to Genesis > Theme Settings.
- Click on the "Header/Footer Scripts" section.
- To add code to the head of your site, paste the code in the "Header Scripts" box. To add code to the footer of your site, paste the code in the "Footer Scripts" box.
- Click Publish to save your changes. Voilà! Your code has been installed.
If your application says to paste before </body>, add your code in the Footer Scripts box.
