How to use categories in blog posts

Before you can use categories in your blog posts, you'll need to create them (if you haven't already). Here are instructions for creating new categories on your site.

To assign a category to a blog post, here's what to do!

1. Go to Posts > All Posts and open the post you would like to add a category to.

2. Look to the right side of the post editor screen and click on the Categories section:

3. All of your available categories will be shown here. You can select one or multiple categories to add to a post.

4. Click Update to save.

Once you've added a category to a blog post, that blog post will now appear on the category page for that category!
