Welcome to the Documentation Center for your 17th Avenue Starter Theme! We are SO excited that you're here. Are you ready to get your new theme set up on your blog!? Let's get started.
In this article, we'll introduce you to Kadence, guide you toward lots of helpful resources, and teach you how to navigate our documentation.
What is Kadence?
Kadence is a powerful theme framework and block system that allows for endless customization possibilities. You can customize every aspect of your site with no code: layout, fonts, colors, and so much more. And Kadence is completely free for you to use, so no additional purchase is required! A Pro version is available that offers some neat features, but these features are not used/shown in our theme demos.

How to Navigate Our Documentation
The Starter Theme Documentation Center contains:
1. Getting Started – We recommend starting here first. In this section, you'll be introduced to Kadence and learn how to install the theme you purchased, as well as import the demo.
2. A section for each individual Starter Theme – Everything you need to customize your specific theme! We'll cover setting up navigation menus, adding social links, adding new homepage blocks, customizing fonts and colors, and more.
But that's not all! In the Tutorials area of our Support Center, we have a Kadence Tutorials section that is chock full of helpful tutorials.

In addition to all of the documentation and tutorials here in the 17th Avenue Support Center, you also have access to a fantastic library of tutorials in the Kadence Help Center. We recommend checking out their Kadence Theme and Kadence Blocks sections.
