Easy Plugin Installation

The Audrey theme comes with an easy plugin installer, so you can install all the recommended plugins in just a few clicks! When you activate your theme, you'll see this message at the top of your dashboard:

  1. Click Begin Installing Plugins (or go to Appearance > install Plugins).
  2. Place a checkmark next to all the plugins you want to install (click the topmost checkbox to check all of them at once).
  3. At the top, go to Bulk Actions > Install > Apply. This will install your plugins.
  4. Return to the plugin installer. Bulk select your plugins and then go to Bulk Actions > Activate > Apply. This will activate your plugins.

Recommended Plugins

The following plugins are required to set up the theme like the demo:

Genesis eNews Extended – Adds the subscription/newsletter areas in the theme

Genesis Portfolio Pro – Adds portfolio widget functionality to the homepage

Genesis Simple Share – Adds the share icons to your blog post footer

Instagram Feed – Instagram widget area in the site footer

Ninja Forms – Recommended contact form plugin

Strong Testimonials – Adds testimonial slider to your theme

Widget Importer & Exporter – This imports the widgets from the demo and makes set up much simpler

Optional Plugins

Genesis Blocks – Adds FAQ functionality to your site (along with other blocks)

WP Recipe Maker – Adds recipe functionality to your posts

MetaSlider – Install if you want to add a traditional slider to the homepage

17th Avenue Post Slider – Install if you want to add a post slider to the homepage

WooCommerce* – Adds a shop/ecommerce area to your site

Genesis Connect for WooCommerce* – If using WooCommerce, this plugin is needed for compatibility between WooCommerce and Genesis
