Starter Theme - Blog Layouts
Your homepage includes a featured section at the top (such as a post carousel), followed by your blog feed and sidebar. The blog feed is fully customizable, making it easy to choose the layout that best fits your style.
You can switch between three different blog feed layouts at any time:
- List – Display posts in a clean vertical list
- Grid – Show posts in a 2-column grid
- Full – Feature larger images and full-width post previews
Step 1: Open Your Homepage
From your WordPress dashboard, go to Pages > Home and click Edit.
Scroll down until you reach the blog feed section, located below the featured section at the top of the page.
Step 2: Insert New Blog Layout
1. Click anywhere on the blog feed section, then use List View to open the first Section block inside the Row Layout block.
2. Inside the Section block, you'll see a Posts block. On the Posts block, click the three-dot menu (⋮) and select Add Before.

3. Next, click on the Design Library button at the top of your screen.
4. Inside the Design Library, go to Starter Blocks > Blog Layouts. Click on your preferred blog layout to insert it into your page.
Step 3: Remove the Previous Blog Layout
Now that you've added your new blog layout, it's time to remove the old one.
With List View still open, delete the Posts block and Buttons block located in that first Section. To delete a block, click on the three-dot menu (⋮) and select Delete. → Video: How to Delete a Block

Note: Be careful not to delete the featured section at the top of the page or the sidebar shortcode that appears beside the blog feed.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
Once you've inserted your new blog layout, click Save to publish your changes.
Visit your homepage to see your new blog feed in action!
Editing the Sidebar
While editing the homepage, you'll notice the sidebar appears as a shortcode. This is expected.
To customize your sidebar content, navigate to: Appearance > Widgets > Sidebar 1
From there, you can add, remove, or rearrange widgets that appear alongside your blog feed.
